Bee Keeping Class 2019

Facilitated by Ken Boyce, Master Bee Keeper and John Ferguson, VP of Mid York Beekeepers Association.  The Beginning Beekeeper course is geared toward individuals planning to start beekeeping or those with one or two years of experience that want more of a refresher course.  Also open to those who wish to explore options in the hands on hive community program at the Clay Community Gardens.  Topic include: anatomy of a bee hive, honeybee Biology, seasonal management, using beekeeping equipment, management of disease and pests and how to obtain bees.

                When: March 2, 2019

                Time: Sign in/coffee/donuts at 8:30am; class runs 9am-5pm

                Location: Town of Clay Senior Center

                Ages: 14-Adult

                Cost: $30 per person (prepaid) checks payable to Town of Clay Beekeeping. Lunch NOT included. Fridge and microwave available on site.
