We know our public is anxious to make summer arrangements and there are a lot of questions about our plans. Our intention is to run programs as usual given that the State/County allows it. Recreation is currently listed as Phase 4 of reopening. If all phases complete as scheduled, this means recreation is slated to resume by July. However, we are anticipating several restrictions and guidelines will be put into place that may limit the operation of certain programs. We also work closely with the school districts for program facilites so we have to consider the possibilty of public school buildings not reopening on time. We unfortunately have to wait for approval from the State in order to resume our programs and at this time do not have any definitive answers. Any and all updates will be shared on our Facebook page as well as our website as we receive them. All recreation inquiries can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are just as anxious as you are to be back up and running (literally!). Our parks are open, including the tennis courts and disc golf course (two person play limit), for use but we still encourage everyone to practice safe distancing procedures and be considerate of the others around them. There still should not be any group/organized activity in the parks.
