Given the speed of new developments on the Coronavirus and until we receive further instruction from higher officials, we have put a temporary hold on online registrations for all SUMMER programs. When a Town operates as many activities as we do, with such high enrollment numbers, we would have a LOT of refunds to process in the event of mass cancellations. Therefore, out of precaution, we have temporarily disabled online registrations. We will notify our public as soon as online registration is back on for these programs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but our public's health and safety is our top priority!

Recreation is an important way to cope and help make life better in these very uncertain times. The Town of Clay Virtual Rec Center is a great online resource to inspire you to stay active, get creative, keep connected, be informed, learn something new, and most importantly, to play! Let’s find ways to play!
Our Recreation staff is working hard to come up with virtual ways to provide you with recreational outlets. Please Visit our Virtual Recreation Page as we are committed to provide a variety of ideas and activities to the community during these difficult times. Visit: to learn more!

After a lot of thought and consideration, The Town of Clay has come to the conclusion that we will not be offering our Playground Program this summer. The Town’s main concern is the safety of all of our residents and the risk was determined to outweigh the possibility of providing such programs. We are very saddened to not be able to offer this program that many local children look forward to every year but look forward to seeing you all next year.

Instead of our typical Playground Program, we will continue to amplify our Virtual Recreation Center. If you have not already seen it, please check it out! We offer a variety of activities, resources and information for all age groups. This is completely free to the public. We will also be offering our weekly craft kits in greater quantities to ensure that we can accommodate, within reason, as many of our families as we can!
