The Annual Snowmobile Ride for Children with Special Needs is one of our favorite events each year. The Town of Clay Recreation Office in conjunction with Rob Bick, Town of Clay Assessor will be hosting the Annual Snowmobile ride, FREE for children with special needs ages 3 to 18 and a parent/guardian.

The event will take place on Saturday, January  29th, 2021 at Town of Clay Town Hall from 10:00 AM-Noon. It is an opportunity for parents, or organizations that provide for special needs children, to allow them to experience one of New York State's famous winter pastimes in a controlled, safe fashion with experienced riders. Riders will have the opportunity to joyride in a tow behind sled as they go through the trails around Town Hall. All current guidelines will be followed along with protocols enforcing distancing and disinfecting measures.

Contact the Town of Clay Recreation Office with questions at 652-3800 x 139 to reserve your spot. If you have a snowmobile or the ability to tow a sleigh, you can volunteer your time for a good cause. All snowmobiles must have current registration and insurance. You can contact Rob Bick, Assessor, to volunteer sleds at 652-3800 x 116.

The makeup date is  February 12th

Online registration is now available! To view program information and to sign up head to https://townofclay.recdesk.com! Information for programs and events that are not available on RecDesk can be found on our Recreation Department page.
