NOTICE TO BIDDERS FOR
COLLECTION & DISPOSAL OF BRUSH FOR
CLAY BRUSH REMOVAL DISTRICT NOS. 2, 3, AND 4
TOWN OF CLAY
ONONDAGA COUNTY, NEW YORK
Sealed bids for THE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF BRUSH FOR CLAY BRUSH REMOVAL DISTRICT NOS. 2, 3, AND 4, within the Town of Clay, will be received by the Town Board, Town of Clay, Onondaga County, New York at the Clay Town Hall, 4401 Route 31, Clay, New York 13041, until 11:00 A.M., Local Time, November 1, 2021, and there at said Town Hall, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud.
This Contract includes all the labor, equipment and materials necessary for the COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF BRUSH WITHIN CLAY BRUSH REMOVAL DISTRICT NOS. 2, 3, AND 4 for the Town of Clay for a continuous one (1) year or three (3) year period beginning January 1, 2022. Bids are being solicited for weekly and bi-weekly collection. The Town Board shall decide what frequency brush collection will occur and the length of the Contract upon reviewing said bids. A reduced copy of the district map is included with the contract documents and shows the locations of the approximately 8,152 homes to be served.
Boundary descriptions and full-sized maps of these districts are on file in the office of the Town Clerk and may be examined by all persons interested therein during regular business hours. Any Contractor bidding to perform services under this proposal shall be solely responsible for determination of the volumes and tonnages involved.
Digital copies of the Contract Documents consisting of the Advertisement, Information for Bidders, Bid, Agreement, General Provisions, General Specifications, Technical Specifications, and Payment Items may be obtained from C&S Engineers, Inc., 499 Col. Eileen Collins Boulevard, North Syracuse, New York, 13212 (contact Rita Fendick at 315-455-2000 or firstname.lastname@example.org). All prospective bidders are required to register with Ms. Fendick to ensure receipt of any Addenda. It is the Bidders sole responsibility to ensure receipt of any/and all Addenda.
Copies of the above-described Contract Documents may be examined at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 4401 Route 31, Clay, New York 13041.
Each bid submitted shall be accompanied by a CERTIFIED CHECK, payable to the Town of Clay, in the amount of $1,000 subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents.
The Town Board of the Town of Clay reserves the right to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all bids and re-advertise for new bids. Each bidder is responsible for familiarizing themselves with all the terms and conditions of the Contract and the provisions contained therein.
