NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public hearing November 16, 2020, commencing at 7:44 P.M., local time, at the Town Hall, located at 4401 New York State Route 31, Town of Clay, Onondaga County, State of New York, to consider the application of CNY PROPERTY HOLDINGS, LLC FOR A ZONE CHANGE from RA-100 Residential Agricultural District to I-1 Industrial District for the construction of a new contractor service yard and a 5,000 square foot storage building with possible office use on vacant land located at 9017 Mud Mill Rd., Tax Map No. 042.-01-08.2, consisting of approximately 7.05± acres of land.
The property which is the subject of this application for a change of zone to I-1 Industrial District is being more particularly bounded and described as follows: ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND, situate in the Town of Clay, County of Onondaga and State of New York, being part of Lot No. 18 in said Town, being part of lands conveyed to CNY Property Holdings, LLC by deed recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk’s Office in Book 4957 of Deeds at page 182, bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the northerly boundary of Mud Mill Road (C.R. No. 17) as appropriated by the County of Onondaga and recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk’s Office in Book 3350 of Deeds at page 290 at its intersection with the westerly boundary of lands conveyed to Ronald L. Lewis by deed recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk’s Office in Book 2790 of Deeds at page 348; running thence S80° 41’57”W along said northerly boundary of Mud Mill Road (C.R. No. 17) as appropriated, a distance of 104.44 feet to the northwest corner of said appropriation; thence S89° 04’ 18”W along the northerly boundary of Mud Mill Road (C.R. No. 17), a distance of 336.09 feet to the easterly boundary of Caughdenoy Road (C.R. No. 50) as appropriated by the County of Onondaga and recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk’s Office in Book 535 of Deeds at page 596; thence northwesterly and westerly along said easterly boundary of Caughdenoy Road (C.R. No. 50) as appropriated the following courses and distances: 1) N13° 27’ 34”W, 89.56 feet; 2) N30° 53’ 40”W, 54.50 feet; 3) N40° 13’ 40”W, 25.50 feet; 4) S60° 56’ 48”W, 25.17 feet to a point in the easterly boundary of said Caughdenoy Road (C.R. No. 50); thence N40° 13’ 40”W along said easterly boundary of Caughdenoy Road (C.R. No. 50), a distance of 151.09 feet to its intersection with the southeasterly boundary of an easement granted to Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation by deed recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk’s Office in Book 1984 of Deeds at page 103; thence N31° 04’E along said southeasterly boundary of an easement granted to Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, a distance of 379.69 feet to a southerly boundary of lands conveyed to 8961 Route 11 Properties, LLC by deed recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk’s Office in Book 4847 of Deeds at page 516; thence N89° 04’ 18”E along said southerly boundary of lands conveyed to 8961 Route 11 Properties, LLC, a distance of 462.76 feet to said westerly boundary of lands conveyed to Ronald L. Lewis; thence S3° 30’W along said westerly boundary of lands conveyed to Ronald L. Lewis, a distance of 567.94 feet to the point of beginning. Subject to any easements or restrictions of record.
At such time all persons interested in said change of zone will be given an opportunity to be heard by the Clay Town Board.
