NOTICE OF HEARING ON PRELIMINARY BUDGET
FOR THE TOWN OF CLAY FOR THE YEAR 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Clay, Onondaga County, New York, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2019 has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk of said Town at 4401 State Route 31 where it is available for inspection by any interested person at all reasonable hours; in addition, it is posted on the Town of Clay website at www.townofclay.org.
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will meet and review said preliminary budget and hold a public hearing thereon at 7:44 P.M. on the 7th day of November, 2018, and that at such hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against the Preliminary Budget as compiled, or for or against, any item or items therein contained.
AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 113 of the Town Law that the following are proposed yearly salaries of the town officers of this town: Supervisor - $57,904; Councilman (Deputy Supervisor) - $14,915; five Councilors - $13,481 each; Town Clerk - $59,348; Tax Receiver - $59,348; Justice(s) $43,391.
A summary of the Town of Clay Budget is as follows: Total Appropriation – $15,611,425 General Fund (Town Wide) $5,931,136; General Fund (Town-outside village) $1,347,994; Highway (outside village) $8,332,295.
