Office Hours are daily Monday thru Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Court sessions are held on Tuesday evenings beginning at 6:30 PM with Judge Lauri and Thursday evening at 5:00 PM with Judge Gaiser.  

Town of Clay court presides over misdemeanor, vehicle and traffic matters, other violations of the law and has preliminary jurisdiction over felony matters.  In addition, the civil jurisdiction extends to disputes involving less than $3000 and includes a small claims part where litigants may appear without attorneys to seek resolution of civil claims involving less than $3000.  Summary proceedings involving landlord/tenant matters are governed by statute and may include rental claims of any amount.
