TOWN OF CLAY NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a
Public Hearing January 7th, 2008, commencing at 7:53 P.M., local time, at the New Town Hall, 4401 New York State
Route 31, Town of Clay, Onondaga County, New York, to consider the application
SELF-STORAGE BUCKLEY LLC for a change of zone from I-2 Industrial 2 District and R-10 One Family Residential District to HC-1
Highway Commercial District and from I-2
Industrial 2 District to R-10 One
Family Residential District on premises located at 7500 and 7502
Buckley Road, (Tax Map Nos. 097.-01-04.0 and part of 097.-01-03.0
respectively) for the purpose of constructing self storage facilities.
The properties which
are the subject of this application, are located at on 7500 Buckley Road (Tax
Map No. 097.-01-04.0) and 7502 Buckley Road (Tax Map No. 097.01-03), and being bounded
and described as follows: PARCEL I - from I-2 INDUSTRIAL 2 DISTRICT to HC-1 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT - (Tax Map No, 097.-01-04 and part of
097.-01-03) : ALL THAT
TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND situate in the Town of Clay, County of
Onondaga and State of New York, and being part of Farm Lot 78 in said Town and
part of such lands as conveyed by Karrch Corporation to Self Storage Buckley
LLC by deed dated July 26, 2006 and recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk's
office in Book 4969 of Deeds at page 447&c, and being more particularly
described as follows: Beginning at a point in the
present centerline of Buckley Road (various widths), said point being the
northwesterly corner of property now or formerly owned by Patricia A. Lockwood
by deed recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office in Book 3884 of Deeds,
at page 276&c; thence N. 29° 14' 01" W. along said centerline
of Buckley Road, a distance of 95.23 feet to a point of curvature; thence
northwesterly along a curve to the left having a radius of 1355.62 feet and an
arc distance of 81.65 feet to a point; thence N. 82° 33' 23" E. a distance
of 27.31 feet to the easterly road boundary of said Buckley Road at the
southwesterly corner of Summa Acres Extension according to a map filed in the
Onondaga County Clerk's Office on September
28,1976 as Map No. 5523; thence N. 82° 33' 23" E. along the southerly line
of said Summa Acres Extension, a distance of 776.38 feet to a point,
said point being at the southwesterly corner of Summa Acres Tract, Section 1 as
filed in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office on November 29, 1962 as Map No.
4497; thence N. 81° 02' 38" E. along the southerly line of said Summa
Acres Tract, Section 1 to its intersection with the easterly line of Lot 13 of said Summa Acres Tract Section 1; thence
southeasterly on a line which is a
prolongation of the easterly line of said Lot 13 to the southerly line of the
existing Industrial-2 Zoning District; thence S. 83° 16' 56" W.
along said southerly line of said Zoning District to the place and point of

Town and part of such lands as conveyed by
Karrch Corporation to Self Storage Buckley LLC by deed dated July 26,
2006 and recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk's office in Book 4969 of Deeds
at page 447&c, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning
at a point at the northeasterly corner of property now or formerly owned by
Patricia Lockward by deed recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office in
Book 3884 of Deeds, at page 276&c; thence N. 83° 16' 56" E. along the
southerly line of an existing Industrial-2 Zoning District and the northerly line
of an existing Residential-10 Zoning District to a point in a line which is the
southerly prolongation of the easterly line of Lot 13 of the Summa Acres Tract,
Section 1, according to a map filed in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office as
Map No. 4497; thence southeasterly along said line of prolongation to a
southerly boundary of the Self Storage Parcel and the northerly boundary of a
parcel now or formerly owned by Paul A. Martin by deed recorded in Onondaga

boundary lines of Self Storage and Martin and along the northerly boundary of a
parcel now or formerly owned by Paul A. Martin, Sr. by deed recorded in
Onondaga County Clerk's Office in Book 1355 of Deeds at page 250 to a point in
the northerly boundary of said Martin parcel and a southerly corner of the Self
Storage Parcel; thence N. 9° 38' 23" W. along the easterly line of the
Lockwood parcel and a westerly line of the Self Storage premises to the place
and point of beginning and PARCEL III (part of
097.-01-03) - from I-2 Industrial 2 District to R-10 One Family Residential District: ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND situate in
the Town of Clay, County of Onondaga and State of New York, and being part of
Farm Lot 78 in said Town and part of such lands as conveyed by Karrch
Corporation to Self Storage Buckley LLC by deed dated July 26, 2006 and
recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk's office in Book 4969 of Deeds at page
447&c, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a
point in the northerly line of said Self Storage lands which line is also the
southerly line of Summa Acres Tract, Section 1 as per Map filed in the Onondaga
County Clerk's Office as Map 4497, at the southeasterly corner of Lot 13 of
Summa Acres Tract, Section 1; thence northeasterly along said line to a point
which is N. 82° 49' 36" W. a distance of 17.92 feet from the westerly line
of Lot 12 of Hafner's Meadow Tract, Section 2 according to a map filed in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office on December
18, 1961, as per Map No. 4413; thence S. 82° 49' 36" E. a distance
of 17.92 feet to the westerly line of said Lot 12 of the Hafner's Meadow Tract;
thence S. 20° 13' 40" E. along the westerly line of said Hafner's Meadow
Tract, a distance of 169.29 feet to a point; thence S. 69° 46' 20" W. a
distance of 74.99 feet to a point; thence S. 02° 23' 20" W. to the
southerly line of the existing Industrial-1 Zoning District on the
aforementioned Self Storage parcel; thence S. 83° 16' 56" W. along the
said southerly line of the Industrial-1 Zoning District (and northerly line of existing Residential-10 Zoning District) to a
point at the intersection with the prolongation of the easterly line of
Lot 13 of the Summa Acres Tract, Section 1; thence northwesterly along the
aforementioned line of prolongation to the place and point of beginning in the
southerly line of Summa Acres Tract, Section 1 and the northerly line of the
Self Storage parcel.
At such time all persons interested in
said change of zone will be given an opportunity to be heard by the Clay Town
Board.
