Town Board Minutes

July 16, 2003

At the Special Meeting of the Town Board, Town of Clay, Onondaga County, held at the Town Hall, Clay, New York on the 16th of July 2003 at 5:00 P.M., there were:

PRESENT:
David R. Palmer Councilor
Clarence A. Rycraft Councilor
Naomi Bray Councilor
Damian M. Ulatowski Councilor
Robert L. Edick Councilor
Vivian I. Mason Town Clerk

ABSENT:
Mark Rupprecht Supervisor
James Rowley Councilor/Deputy Supervisor

The meeting was called to order by Councilman Palmer at 5:00 P.M. All present joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Bids/Sewer - BAYBERRY CIRCLE SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT:

Councilor Rycraft moved the adoption of a resolution awarding a contract for the construction of "BAYBERRY CIRCLE SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT" to Highlander Construction, Inc., for the sum of $247,650.55. Said amount being the lowest responsible bidder. Motion was seconded by Councilor Ulatowski.

Ayes-5 and Noes-0. Carried.

Bids/Cleaning Services - Clay Town Hall:

Councilor Rycraft moved the adoption of a resolution awarding a contract for the janitorial/cleaning services of the "TOWN OF CLAY NEW TOWN HALL," to Niland Building Service, Inc. for the sum of $18,600.00. Said amount being the lowest responsible bidder. Motion was seconded by Councilor Ulatowski.

Ayes-5 and Noes-0. Carried.

Bids/Demolition - THREE RIVERS APARTMENTS:

Councilor Ulatowski moved the adoption of a resolution authorizing the advertisement of bids for demolition of the THREE RIVERS APARTMENTS. Said bids to be received until August 8th, 2003 at 11:00 A.M., local time. Motion was seconded by Councilor Bray.

Ayes-5 and Noes-0. Carried.

Bids/Parks - PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FOR TOWN OF CLAY PARKS:

Councilor Ulatowski moved the adoption of a resolution authorizing the advertisement of bids for the purchase of PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FOR TOWN OF CLAY PARKS. Said bids to be received until August 4th, 2003 at 11:00 A.M., local time. Motion was seconded by Councilor Rycraft.

Ayes-5 and Noes-0. Carried.

Adjournment:

The meeting was adjourned at 5:15 P.M. upon motion by Councilor Bray and seconded by Councilor Ulatowski. Ayes-5 and Noes-0. Carried.
