TOWN OF CLAY NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town
Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public Hearing June 18th, 2007, commencing at 7:35 P.M., local time, at the New Town
Hall, 4401 New York State Route 31, Town of Clay, Onondaga County, New York, to
consider the application of Richard J. Alt, Donald W. Alt and Marilyn
A. Alt for a change of zone
from RA-100 Residential/Agricultural
District to HC-1 Highway Commercial District, for the purpose of allowing future
commercial development south of the Clay Business Park, without access to N.Y.S
Route 31 and the constructions of a
road to connect Caughdenoy and Stearns
Roads south of N.Y.S Route 31.
The properties, which are the subject of this
application, are located at 5236 and vacant land, State Route 31, being
part of Tax Map Nos. 064.-01-10.0 and 064.-01-12.4, and shall consist of only
22± acres of the 65± acres of said parcels, and being bounded and described as
follows: ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF
LAND
situate in the Town of Clay, County of Onondaga and State of New York, being
part of Military Lot Nos. 39 & 40 in said Town of Clay, bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at the
intersection of the centerline of N.Y.S. Route No. 31 with the westerly
boundary of lands conveyed to Route 31 Holding Co LLC by deed recorded in Book
4628 of Deeds at page 210 in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office, said point
also being 3943± feet easterly along said centerline of N.Y.S. Route No. 31
from the centerline of Caughdenoy Road (C.R. No. 49) and being the intersection
of said centerline of N.Y.S. Route 31 with the easterly boundary of lands
conveyed to Donald W. & Richard J. Alt by deed recorded in Book 3601 of
Deeds at page 200 in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office; running thence S
05°13' 30 W along said easterly boundary of Alt, a distance of 650± feet to a
corner therein; thence N 88° 35' 21 W continuing along said easterly boundary
of Alt, a distance of 316.70 feet to a corner therein thence S 01° 24' 39 W
continuing along said easterly boundary of Alt, a distance of 216± feet to the
centerline of a proposed road; thence along said centerline of a proposed road
the following courses and distances: 1) N 88° 35 21 W, 32± feet to a point of
curvature; 2) westerly and northwesterly along a curve to the right, having a
radius of 400± feet, an arc distance of 361±
feet to a point of tangency; 3 ) N 36° 48 27 W, 356± feet to a point in the westerly
boundary of said Alt and the easterly boundary of lands conveyed to Davis
Ventures LLC, by deed recorded in Book 4950 of deeds at page 302 in the
Onondaga County Clerks Office; thence N 04° 00' 22" E along said easterly
boundary of Davis Ventures LLC, a distance of 1146± feet to a point in said
centerline of N.Y.S. Route 31; thence southeasterly along said centerline of
N.Y.S. Route 31, a distance of 1128± feet to the point of beginning. Containing 22 acres of land, more or
less.
At such time all persons interested in
said change of zone will be given an opportunity to be heard by the Clay Town
Board.
