FAMILY GYM AND SWIM -
2008
LOCATION: Liverpool High
School
The Town of Clay Recreation
Department will be offering the very popular Family Gym and Swim
Program this winter at Liverpool High School. The pool
will be open for the entire families enjoyment from 6:00 to 8:00
PM; while the gymnasium will host a variety of fun family
activities to include basketball, relays, parachute games and
much much more. Program dates are:
Feb. 10th, 17th, 24th, March 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd, 2008.
Schedule/Times: 6:00-8:00 PM - Family Swim (children must have a parent present
to swim) and Family Recreation.

EASTER EGG HUNT -2008
This Town of Clay Recreation
Department's Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday,
March 15th, 2008, at Clay Central Park on Wetzel Road at 11:00 AM sharp! Clay P. Bunny
will be making an appearance with goodies for the boys and girls, ages
9 and under. You must be a resident of the Town of Clay and
registered! We can only take a limited amount of
children since we make up goodie bags for the participants. Email recreation@townofclay.org
or phone 652-3800 to register. In the event of inclement weather
it may be moved to Saturday, April 15th! Remember Clay Residents only!
BOATER
SAFETY COURSE- 2008
A safety course for ages 10 and up. It is now the law for
adolescents ages 10-17 to take the boater safety course to be
certified to operate a boat in NY State. State Certified
Instructor!
DATE: Mondays-April
14th, 21st, 28th, May 12th, & 19th, 2008 -4 wks.
TIMES: 6:00-8:30 PM
LOCATION: The 'Center' for TOC Senior's, 4948 Route 31.
Old Clay Firestation.
COST: Free to youth ages 10-17-Adults 18 & up will be
given a form to send to the state which will require a small fee
to accompany the form.

in Alexandria Bay).

A FREE Family Event featuring
History, Sword & Archaic Weapon Demonstrations, Skits,
Music, Pirate Treasure and more! Tales from Remikreh (Alex
Bay group) will present an exciting sword fighting showdown, as
the Pirate's take on the Town Guard in a Contest of Skills and
Agility. Come cheer on your favorites. Chaos
Production Street Pirate Troupe will perform the stage play
"The Amazing Adventures of Bob the Pirate".
There will be skits, games, music and food. Come 'dressed
like a Pirate' and join in the fun. Any questions contact

HERSHEY TRACK
& FIELD EVENT -2008
In a partnership the Town of
Cicero, Town of Clay and Village of North Syracuse, are proud to
co-sponsor the Annual Hershey Track & Field
Meet. The meet is open to all children ages 9 to 14
residing in the Town of Cicero, Town of Clay and Village of
North Syracuse. Top finishers in each event may be
eligible to advance to the State Meet and then to the National
Games in Pennsylvania. To find out more about this

HALLOWEEN PARTY

LOCATION: The
new Clay Town Hall, 4401 Route 31, Clay.
The Clay Recreation Department
will offer a Family Halloween Event for Town of Clay residents
to include free entertainment, Haunted area, costume judging
with prizes, cider and donuts on Saturday, October 27th, 2007
at the Clay Town Hall. Time for this event is 6:00-8:00 PM.

YOUTH SNOWMOBILE
SAFETY COURSE - 2007=2008
The Clay Recreation Dept. will
sponsor a youth snowmobile safety course for ages 10 to
18. This is an 8-hr. course, held at the the 'Center' for
Town of Clay Seniors, 4948 Rte. 31 next to the RR tracks. It
is now the law that adolescents ages 10 to 18 take the safety
course to operate a snowmobile in New York State.
Instructor: Sandy Murphy.
Session 1: Sat., Nov.
10th, 2007-9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Session 2: Thurs., Nov. 15th & Fri., Nov. 16th,
2007-5:00-9:00 PM both days.
Session 3: Thurs., Dec. 13th & Fri., Dec. 14th,
2007-5:00-9:00 PM both days.
Session 4: Thurs., Jan. 10th & Fri., Jan. 11th,
2008-5:00-9:00 PM both days.
You should bring a pen/pencil
and a lunch/snack & drink to program. Pre-registration

The Town of Clay Recreation Department
Day will be on Thursday, Dec. 27th, 2007 and Thursday, Feb. 21st, 2007 from
12:00-2:00 PM. Adults may participate too!
LOCATION: Cicero Twin Rinks Ice
Skating Center - 752-7465 (RINK)
FEE: Youth/Adult - $3:50 includes
admission & $5.00 includes admission and rental.
REGISTRATION: Just let them know you are there for the Town of Clay
Recreation Day.
SNOW TUBING - FOUR SEASONS -
2008
Snow tubing for ages 8 and up offered on Wednesday,
February 20th, 2008 from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. Youth may bring a lunch
or purchase at Four Seasons Golf and Ski Resort in Fayetteville
(637-9023). Bus
transportation included with pick-up sites at 9:00 AM at Wetzel Road
Elementary School in Liverpool or 9:15 AM at the Bear Road Elementary in
No. Syracuse. Fee is $10.00 (normally $16.00) payable at
bus stop. NOTE: Checks made payable to Four Season. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED by calling Clay
