PUBLIC NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF TOWN ORDINANCE 2016-02
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the following is the title and brief description of an Ordinance duly enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Clay, in the County of Onondaga, and State of New York on March 7, 2016 and entered in its Minutes, to wit:
TITLE: Ordinance 2016-02 amending Chapter 216, entitled “VEHICLES ABANDONED, JUNKED OR INOPERATIVE” to the Municipal Code of the Town of Clay.
Ordinance 2016-02 provides that said Chapter 216, Section 216-4 “Penalties for offenses” is amended to the Code of the Town of Clay and it is the intent of this to replace Article “X” with Article “I” and adding to the end of said paragraph the words “for which no further notice of any kind need to be filed.”
A copy of Ordinance 2016-02 is on file in the Town Clerk's Office at the Clay Town Hall.
The above Ordinance shall take effect on the tenth day after the date of publication of this Notice, provided, however, this Ordinance shall take effect from the date of its service as against a person personally served with a copy thereof certified by the Town Clerk under the corporate seal of the Town and showing the date of its passage and entry in the Minutes of the Town Board.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF TOWN ORDINANCE 2016-01
TITLE: Ordinance 2016-01 amending Chapter 78, entitled “BRUSH, GRASS AND WEEDS” Section 78-7 “Penalties for Offenses” to the Municipal Code of the Town of Clay.
Ordinance 2016-01 provides that said Chapter 78, Section 78-7 “Penalties for offenses” is amended to the Code of the Town of Clay and it is the intent of this to increase the fine from $250 to $750 and adding to the end of said paragraph the words “for which no further notice of any kind need to be filed.”
A copy of Ordinance 2016-01 is on file in the Town Clerk's Office at the Clay Town Hall.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public hearing March 21, 2016, commencing at 7:35 P.M., local time, at the Town Hall, located at 4401 New York State Route 31, Town of Clay, Onondaga County, State of New York, to consider the application of NORTH SYRACUSE LODGING GROUP, LLC FOR A ZONE CHANGE from R-TH Residential Townhome to RC-1 Regional Commercial and R-TH Residential Townhome to allow commercial and townhome use on vacant land located on Pepperidge Way, Tax Map No. 055.-01-01.1; consisting of approximately 16.22± acres of land.
The property which is the subject of this application is located on State Route 31, and being more particularly bounded and described as follows: ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND, situate in the Town of Clay, County of Onondaga and State of New York, being part of Military Lot No. 35 in said town, being part of Lot No. 5 (Residual Lands) of Hamlin Farm according to a map of said tract filed in the Onondaga County Clerk’s Office January 14, 2004 as Map No. 9826, bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the southerly boundary of Pepperidge Way, said point being the northeasterly corner of said Lot No. 5 (Residual Lands); running thence S 88°45’16” W along said southerly boundary of Pepperidge Way, a distance of 187.84 feet to a point of curvature therein; thence westerly and northwesterly continuing along said southerly and southwesterly boundaries, respectively, of said Pepperidge Way, following a curve to the right, having a radius of 440.00 feet, an arc distance of 307.39 feet to the northerly boundary of said Lot No. 5 (Residual Lands); thence S 87°25’00” W along said northerly boundary of Lot No. 5 (Residual Lands), a distance of 371.80 feet to the northwesterly corner thereof; thence S 03°32’00” E along the westerly boundary of said Lot No. 5 (Residual Lands), a distance of 505.99 feet to a point therein; thence N 87°23’13” E through said Lot No. 5 (Residual Lands), a distance of 836.06 feet to the easterly boundary of said Lot No. 5 (Residual Lands); thence N 03°13’15” W along said easterly boundary of Lot No. 5 (Residual Lands), a distance of 391.47 feet to the point of beginning. Subject to any other easements and restrictions of record.
At such time all persons interested in said change of zone will be given an opportunity to be heard by the Clay Town Board.

TOWN OF CLAY PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there has been introduced before the Town Board of the Town of Clay, County of Onondaga and State of New York, on the 4th day of January 2016, proposed Local Law No. 2 of the Year 2016 amending Chapter 230 entitled “ZONING” §230-22 “SIGNS” of the Code of the Town of Clay.
The purpose of this proposed local law is to amend Chapter 230 entitled “ZONING” §230-22 “SIGNS” by amending, increasing and adding §230-22 B. two new definitions and replacing the definition of Electronic Message Boards, and adding §230-22C.(1)(c) Special Permit Uses and to be included in the Town of Clay Municipal Code.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that pursuant to Section 20 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, a public hearing will be held on the aforesaid proposed local law amendment before the Town Board of the Town of Clay at the Town Hall of the Town of Clay, located at 4401 State Route 31, Clay, New York, on the 1st day of February 2016, commencing at 7:35 P.M., local time, at which time all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
