1. Clay Town Hall's hours of business - Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.


2. Where is Clay Town Hall located and how do I get there? Town Hall is located at 4401 State Route 31 between Morgan Road and Henry Clay Boulevard. Coming from I-81, get off at the Rt. 31 exit and head west approximately 4.7 miles. Town Hall will be on the right hand side just past Henry Clay Blvd. Coming from 481, get off at the Rt. 31 exit and head east approximately 1.4 miles. Town Hall will be on the left hand side past Morgan Rd.


3. How do I obtain a recycling Blue Bin and is there any charge? Two free blue bins are available to any Town of Clay resident and can be picked up at Town Hall during regular hours at the Town Clerk's office.

5. When is brush pickup, what's allowed and not allowed?

6. Do you have a Notary and is there a charge? Yes, there are Notaries in the Town Clerk's office and several in other departments. There is no charge to have documents notarized.


7. When do you pick up Christmas trees? For refuse district numbers 1 and 6 only, the highway department starts to pick up Christmas trees in January, weather permitting, and continues until all trees have been collected.  For refuse districts 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 8, there are 3 curbside collections in January by the brush hauler under contract with the Town. 

8. When does street sweeping start? Weather permitting, sweeping starts the middle of March and continues until all the streets have been swept.
